Take a moment to sit comfortably, close your eyes, and bring to mind someone you care about deeply. Picture them in your mind’s eye and repeat silently, “May you be happy, may you be healthy, may you be safe, may you live with ease.” Feel the warmth and love you have for them in your heart. Now, extend these wishes to yourself, a neutral person, and even someone you may be having difficulty with. Embrace the interconnectedness of all beings through this practice of loving-kindness meditation.
